Bad days for our republic
"In the DeLano case, 06-4780-bk, Judge Sotomayor, presiding, and her colleagues on a panel of the Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit (CA2), issued a summary order to protect, not the rule of law, but rather their appointee to a bankruptcy judgeship, Bankruptcy Judge John C. Ninfo, II, WBNY. ..."

Obama Signs Executive Order Barring Release Of His Birth Certificate
From Infowars.com (article here):
On January 21st, 2009, his very first day in office, Barack Obama implemented and signed into law Executive Order 13489.
For those of you who can’t take the time to read it. here is the section that applies:
“Sec.2
Notice Of Intent To Disclose Presidential Records
When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines providied by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege.”

A reader corrects me, mea culpa
"The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands accepts both Certificates of Live Birth (original birth certificate) and Certifications of Live Birth because they are official government records documenting an individual’s birth."
However, the DHHS is only a department of the State of Hawaii, in a court of law not only a certified document is required, but also a custodian of the records must testify to the validity of the record. Even certified records can be forged.
I will, however, remove my post declaring that the state doesn't accept COLB documentation.

Interesting quotes in this article about "new legislation"
A Florida congressman who has proposed requiring candidates for the presidency to document their eligibility for the office under the "natural born citizen" requirements of the U.S. Constitution says it's not intended to affect President Obama's current term, but he wants to avoid similar issues in the future.
"The last election is over," Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., said ..."There's zero chance … of him being removed from office. I've talked to high ranking members of our judiciary committee who say, 'You know, this is a matter of standing, this is why the Supremes won't take this up, and the Supreme Court exists to protect individuals or groups of individuals from having their rights trampled and there's not anybody that has the proper standing.'"
...
"It's prospective. It's not personal. It's not debating the last election. The last election is over. I don't think that outcome is going to change. Personally, I think it's futile to go there, but looking toward the future I think it would be reckless if we do not do everything we could to eliminate problems like that in the future. And that's why I filed the bill," he said.
...
The first reporter that called me up opened the conversation asking why I filed 'that racist bill.' I'm trying to see that the Constitution is heretofore followed, end of subject, period. Nothing more, nothing less. ...

Wll the big media ever wake up? (trick question)
Did the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune and ABC News cover a story about questions over a presidential candidate's constitutional eligibility during the long campaign last year?
Surprisingly, perhaps, the answer is "Yes, they did."
They all covered the question over John McCain's eligibility as a "natural-born citizen."

WND has another eligibility article
The suggestion comes from Lyle Rapacki, a former police officer who has worked in the field of psychological disorders for years. Since the 1990s, he has provided his analysis in public "white paper" reports and classified documents to various safety and security interests.
Rapacki's report cited the continuing controversy over Obama's birth certificate and a long list of lawsuits that have alleged he is not eligible to be president under the Constitution's requirement that the office be occupied only by a "natural born" citizen.
